| Mt. Wutaishan |

Mt. Wutaishan covers an area of 2,837 square kilometers, and with the average altitude over 1,000 meters, its apex, the summit of the northern peak which is famed as being the "Roof of Northern China", reaches 3,058 meters. There are a number of Buddhist temples on the mountain, among them the Foguang Temple, Nanchan Temple, and Xiantong Temple are the most famous temples. On Wutaishan, there is a Tibet Buddhism style pagoda for storing Buddha’s Relics in the Tayuan Temple. That pagoda, having a height of 60-metre and a straight staircase of 108-step, can be seen as the mark of Wutaishan with it grand looking.
In addition, the Mt.Wutai is known as the place of Buddhist Rites of Wenshu Bodhisattva. With its Buddhist temples, the Mt.Wutai also attracts many Buddhist believers to pay for oneself before the image of Buddha.
