Changbaishan Hot Spring in Heilingjiang province

Changbaishan Mountain is widely regarded as the most beautiful mountain in Northeast China. Meaning "ever white" in Chinese, the mountain is white all year long, partly because of the pumice stones that cover its slopes. However, the whiteness is also caused by snow, which covers the peak of the mountain for almost half the year from November through to June.
At the north side of the White-Head Mountain, there is a group of hot springs covering an area of over one thousand square meters. Two white rivers wind their ways among the hot springs. The right banks where the mouths of springs concentrate are shrouded in hot misty air all the year round. The springs vary in temperature, with the highest reaching 82 degree Celsius. The hot waters contain hydrogen sulphide and have high medical value.
At winter, the Changbaishan is covered with snow. Lots of people then will go there to enjoy the snow scenery. But the most attraction to people at that season is that people have the access to experience of taking hot spring while there is snowing.
