Wuqiao country, famed as the home of acrobatics, is located in Hebei Province which is one of the birthplaces of China's acrobatics. For the purpose of flourishing acrobatic art, promoting artistic exchanges between China and other countries and enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and foreign artistes. China Wuqiao International circus Festival-CWICF, which is named after the famous birthplace of acrobatics---Wuqiao Hebei, is a magnificent and comprehensive international meeting of circus. CWICF was held in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province, only in odd years once every two years, generally in the last week of Oct. or the first week of Nov.
When the festival is held, the Organizing Committee will invite foreign and Chinese celebrities in the acrobatic circle to form a judging panel. The jury members may make revisions and changes of the competition regulation before the competition starts. Once the competition begins, the decision of the jury is final and can not be changed. The Organizing Committee will warmly invite circus artistes from all over the world to participate in the Festival and hopes that all friend both at home and aboard will come and enjoy the wonderful shows
