Yalong Bay Golf Club has established a fine reputation among numerous golfers from all over the world that have enjoyed playing the course in its natural setting surrounded by mountains with its tricky sea breezes and typical link styled rolling fairways ,paving the way to its fast, undulating well bunked greens.
Owned by China Everbright Co. Ltd., Yalong Bay Golf Club was designed and built by Robert Trent Jones Design Company in accordance with the standards of U.S.PGA.
The club's 18-hole course covers an area of 68 hectares with a total fairway yardage of 7,176,dotted with 98bunkers and streaked with a winding river that covers a total area of 120,000 ㎡ .
The course, shaped like a dragon's claw, is hemmed in by adjacent green hills and the blue sea and covered with large stretches of grass, which forming a beautiful landscape.
The fairways of the course shaped strategically and exquisitely, look smooth but prove to be complex and deceptive, offering a mix of greater challenge and entertainment, and meeting the needs of golfers of different levels.
The current course record in this club is 63 strokes created by Danny China, a Malaysia professional player on October 26, 2003. And numerous golf fans enjoyed their unforgettable golf vacations on this links course. In the past
4 years, more than 20 amateurs experienced great ecstasy brought about by their successful holes in one in this club. Golfers who played in this club were greatly impressed by the unique design and perfect maintenance of the course.
