It is reported, to attract more tourists in cold weather, the Beijing Happy Valley will hold an evening activity - costume ball as of October 27, 2006. Those who purchase the intraday admission ticket can amuse themselves on the ball for about 4 hours.
The costume ball will last from 06:00 to 22:00 every night from Oct 27th to Nov 5th. Though the Happy Valley is closed at 6:00pm every day, the visitors who have already bought the ticket (160 Yuan per person) on that day may continuously take part in the activity without going out of the amusement park. Tourists who want to attend the costume ball only can enter the Happy Valley after 6:00pm with purchasing the admission ticket in advance and the masks used for the costume ball are given to them for free.
