Tianjin, the major industrial and commercial city in North China, is just one and half-hours’ drive from Beijing. It is a municipality directly under the Central Government and it is an open seaside city. With the Haihe River and the Grand Canal crossing in its centre, the city enjoys convenient communications not only on land and in the air but also on water. The Tianjin New Harbour, built in1952, is the largest artificial seaport in North China, serving as Beijing gateway to the sea. The biggest container quay has been built here. The Water Park, located southwest of the city, is the city’s one of the most attractive sites. The azure green water and the tiny boats can be enjoyed together with other pretty views. The city’s carpets, colour clay figures and New year paintings from Yangliuqing are famous for their exquisiteness. Goubuli steamed stuffed buns and Guifaxiang fried dough twists are two of the city’s famous snacks.

| Day 01 |
Arrival in the capital of China---Beijing. It is a unique representation of the past and future of China, a country with 5,000 years' history. Transfer to the hotel in downtown. Free time for first day. |
| Day 02 |
After breakfast, you'll visit Tiananmen Square which boasts the largest of its kind in the center of Beijing. Then you will enter the Forbidden City, the home of Chinese Emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, which has been called "the noblest example of religious architecture in the whole of China". In the evening, attend a welcome banquet featuring Beijing Roast Duck, specially prepared for you! (B, L, D) |
| Day 03 |
The highlight today is an excursion to the Great Wall at "Badaling". As the old Chinese saying tells: "No one is a real man unless he has climbed the Great Wall". After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs where 13 emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and their empresses and concubines were buried. In the evening, enjoy the Peking Opera, a national treasure with a history of 200 years. (B, L, D) |
| Day 04 |
After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace. In order to avoid the intense heat of the summer in Beijing, the imperial court used to leave the Forbidden City and stay in this specially built resort. Free time in the afternoon. |
| Day 05 |
After breakfast, we will go to the Tianjin Municipality. We will visit the Nanshi Food Street, then visit the Shi Family Mansion. We will enjoy the famous location food--- “Goubull” Dumpling in the dinner.

After breakfast, we will go to the Panshan Mountain which is famous for its beautiful landscape in China. Return to Beijing. Finish the happy tour about Beijing and Tianjin. |
